Assistant Accountant

Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Hing Vision Group, a listed company on the mainboard of the HK Stock Exchange. Being the Global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of premium eyewear and eyewear accessories, they sincerely are recruiting one Assistant Accountant to join their Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Report to Senior Accouning Manager,
• Assist in preparing the annual budget, monthly financial statements and management reports
• Assist in statutory audit and tax filling works.
• Perform full range accounting functions including but not limited to general ledger/voucher preparation, bank reconciliation, checking of bank cheques and management of fund transfers.
• Assist in fulfilling other ad-hoc duties as required.

 Job requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance with 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Registered member or student member of a recognized professional accounting body preferred.
• Relevant working experience in HK-listed companies and CPA firms is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Flex Accounting systems is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Knowledge of HKFRS for the accounting industry.
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Outgoing personality, detail-oriented and sensitive to number.
• Responsible, self-motivated and willing to learn.
