• To source potential beauty and cosmetics brands, establish vendor strategies, product costing/placement, and build a strong vendor network to support business growth
• Develop Open-To-Buy budgets based on sales performance, projections and assortment
• Implement corporate product strategy and assortment plan, facilitate execution and follow up on action plan
• Monitor inventory, delivery, and reordering situations to ensure appropriate levels of stock of designated product categories are maintained
• Responsible for merchandise allocations and co-ordination with stores and warehouse for stock replenishment and maintaining timely delivery
• Liaise with sales teams for feedback on product categories, viable new development, seasonal purchases, and restocking plan
• Assist in other ad hoc duties and projects.

Requirements

• Degree holder in a business-related discipline
• At least 8 years of working experience in merchandising / wholesale/retail, preferably in the beauty/cosmetics retail industry.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandising Manager
• Good team player, self-motivated, well-organized, and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in budgeting, sales planning, inventory control, and cosmetics logistics arrangement
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
• Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
